Introduction

Ingredients

    1 lb. Lean Ground Turkey (93% lean)
    1/2 cup brown rice (cooked)
    1/2 cup bread crumbs (plain)
    2 t. mayonnaise
    1 T. low sodium teriyaki marinade
    2 t. ketchup
    1 t. salt
    1/2 t. white pepper
    1.5 t. ground sage
    1/2 t. thyme
    1/4 t. allspice


Tips

Washing my hands after mixing it before trying to make burgers worked better. The two that were messy looking cooked up fine anyhow. Try a bit less salt and other spice if you don't like a lot of spice, but it's a good mix.


Directions

Mix all ingredients except turkey in a big bowl, then add turkey and mix well (by hand is easiest, but it's messy). Form into burgers Fry them up about 5-6 minutes per side. Check for doneness.

Serving Size: makes 4 good size (1/2 lb) burgers ore more smaller ones
