Ingredients

1 lb extra lean ground beef
2 egg whites
1 1/2 slices of whole wheat bread crumbs (made in blender without crust)
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a large bowl, add the ground beef.
3. To make bread crumbs: remove crust, break up bread and add to a blender or food processor. Process until the bread turns into crumbs.
4. To the beef, add the bread crumbs, , egg whites, salsa pepper, to taste. Using your hands, mix together all the ingredients.
5. Place the meat mixture in a loaf pan or baking dish.'
6. Bake for 45 minutes or until done. Remove from oven and let rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
