Introduction

This is so easy, you'll be ready to eat in no time! This is so easy, you'll be ready to eat in no time!

Ingredients

    • 1/2 lb. lean ground sirloin
    • 1 can fat free cream of mushroom soup
    • 1 tablespoon light sour cream
    • 1/2 cup mushrooms (optional)
    • 1 cup uncooked wheat egg noodles

Directions

1. Cook pasta as directed on package.



2. While pasta is cooking, brown beef.



3. Once browned and drained, stir in the can of cream of mushroom soup, light sour cream and mushrooms if you would like.



4. Turn onto low and simmer until pasta is cooked.



5. Pour pasta onto a plate, and top with the meat mixture.



Serves 2.

    You can reduce the amount of fat in your cooked ground beef in HALF by rinsing it under water and draining it. I do it all the time and it doesn't affect the taste at all.

    We have been making this for years at our house - it's my hubby's favorite! I also add onions and a coupls splashes of A1 or worchestshire sauce.

    So Yummy! I made this one a couple of weeks ago and loved how easy it is... I added some fresh garlic and a few other spices as well... and put in more mushrooms too! Definitely a recipe that is now in our rotation! - 3/24/08

    I thought this was a great, easy recipe. I didn't have any sour cream on hand, so I used a little skim milk. Turned out pretty good. Thanks for sharing! - 3/20/08
