Ingredients

    I C Diced Celery
    1 C Diced carrots
    2 C Chopped onions
    1 Med Bell pepper, diced
    1 Lg portabella mushroom, diced
    3 Cloves Garlic

    1 Lb lean Ground beef

    2 Tbsp dried basil

    2.5 C Classico Pasta Sauce - Italian Sausage w/Peppers and Onions
    1 3/4 C Don Pepino Pizza Sauce

    6 Cups COOKED Pasta (penne/shells/bowties, etc)

Tips

This is a BIG recipe - we wanted leftovers to freeze for those "I don't feel like cooking" nights !


Directions

Cook pasta and set aside - Chop and dice celery, carrots, onion, bell pepper, portabella cap and garlic - "saute" for about 10 minutes - add basil and ground beef - continue to saute until ground beef is cooked --- skim/blot fat from beef. Add pasta and pizza sauce, mix thoroughly - mix in pasta - cover and simmer 5 minutes.

Serving Size: Makes 12 each - 1 cup servings
