Ingredients

    2 1/2 cups rolled oats
    1 1/2 crispy rice cereal
    ¼ cup ground flax seed
    ½ cup dried fruit (raisins, plums, craisins)
    6 tablespoons salted butter
    3/4 Cup brown sugar
    1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    6 tablespoons honey
    2 tablespoon molasses

Directions

mix rolled oats, cereal and fruit in a bowl. In a saucepan over medium heat, add butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, honey and molasses. Stir until combined and allow to come to a boil. Keep stirring until everything is melted. Remove from heat and pour into dry ingredients. Stir until well mixed. Pat into an lined (plastic wrap) 8x 8 pan. Use a big spoon and press these tightly into pan. Put into refrigerator covered for about an hour to cool. Turn out onto a cutting board, then remove plastic wrap. Cut into bars- whatever size you like. We cut ours into 6 rows across and 3 rows down.
