Introduction

Number of Servings: 36

Ingredients

    Dough:
    300 g whole wheat flour
    400 g white flour
    2 tbsp sugar
    1 tsp salt
    300 ml water, lukewarm
    300 ml plain yogurt (can be replaced with water)
    yeast

    Filling:
    cream cheese (you can easily use the low-fat version)
    about 200 g ham, sliced or diced
    shredded cheese if you have some

Directions

Mix the dough, let it rise for at least 30 minutes, preferably longer. Roll it out to a thin dough (pizza-style, only rectangular). With a pizza slicer cut the dough into 36 triangles (or the desired number). divide filling equally on the triangles. Roll them into buns, starting at an edge, ending with an angle, tucking the filling in and pressing the dough together in order to lock the filling in.

Bake in the oven at 200C for approximately 15 minutes, or until done.
