Introduction

YUM! YUM!
Number of Servings: 50

Ingredients

    Meatballs
    1 pound pork sausage
    1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup plain dry bread crumbs (we use cracker crumbs)
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup finely chopped onion (we use onion powder)
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp black pepper

    Sauce
    1/2 cup apple jelly
    1/4 cup spicy brown mustard
1/4 cup Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey
    1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp Tabasco sauce
(We usually use a little extra of each so the sauce won’t dry out tailgating)

Tips

Serve with pretzel sticks.

Directions

Meatballs:
Preheat oven to 375. Combine all meatball ingredients. Form into 1 1/2 inch balls. Place on a foil and Pam covered baking sheet & bake for about 10-15 minutes, then flip for 10-15 more minutes or until browned & cooked through. (We usually do 10 minutes each side.)

Sauce:
Combine all sauce ingredients in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook for one minute, then add meatballs and cook for five more minutes, stirring to make sure they all get coated. Cook until sauce thickens slightly.

Serving Size: about 50 meatballs
