Ingredients

2.5# boneless beef chuck/roast (nutri info uses beef stew meat)
1 cup onion, diced
1 cup green pepper, diced
3 cloves of garlic, chopped small
2 tbsp cooking oil (optional, not in nutri info)
1 28 ounce can of diced tomatoes
1 cup water
6 oz can of tomato paste
6 tbsp Chili Powder
3 tbsp cumin
2 tsp oregano
1 tsp crushed red pepper
1 tsp black pepper
3 cans of kidney beans (15 oz each), drained
Tips
Picture is from when I made a half batch with ground burger. Trust me, its much better when you take some sort of roast and cube it. Extra deer meat is a staple
Directions
cut meat into ˝ inch pieces
brown with onions and green peppers
Combine all ingredients EXCEPT beans. Cover & cook slowly 1.5 hours (or crock pot for a day) add beans and cook for 20-30 minutes, uncovered.
