Introduction

Chicken salad has never tasted so good! Chicken salad has never tasted so good!

Ingredients

    1/4 cup diced honeycrisp apple (skin optional)
    1/4 cup halved grapes
    1/4 cup roasted, salted sunflower seeds (no shell)
    1/4 cup raw english walnut pieces
    1/4 cup sliced raw almonds
    1 whole boneless, skinless chicken breast- seasoned with Mrs Dash, cooked, cooled and cubed
    1/4 cup raw, diced celery
    1/2 cup Miracle Whip Light


Tips

May use as filling for bread, pita or flour tortilla. (Goes well with leaf lettuce and whole grain breads.)

Optional- Add to torn lettuce and eat as traditional dinner salad.

Eat on your favorite cracker as a hearty snack.


Directions

Precook chicken the day before and have chilled and ready to dice. Prepare grapes, apple, celery and chicken and place into mixing bowl. Add Miracle Whip and stir until blended. (May need more if it's too dry for your tastes.)

Store in airtight container in refrigerator up to 3 days.

Serving Size: Makes about 3 cups.
