Introduction

Roasted garbanzo beans are easy, fast and delicious. I prefer the coconut oil but you can use olive oil as well. Good on their own but also great on top of a salad. Ingredients

    1 can Garbanzo Beans OR 1.5 cups cooked;
    1.5 Tbs. Coconut Oil
    2 tsp. Turmeric
    Salt to taste.

Tips

Try this with any variety of spices!


Directions

Preheat oven to 450.

Rinse and drain (and dry if possible) the beans. Then toss in a bowl with oil and turmeric and spread in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Roast for 10-15 minutes before mixing and turning and then roast for 15 minutes more (or until they are slightly crispy).

Serving Size: Makes 4, heaping 1/4 cup servings.
