Introduction

I threw this together to make a meat sauce to put on Pasta. This is what I dug out of my pantry to make a low-fat Dish. The Sodium seems a bit high so be mindful of that. I threw this together to make a meat sauce to put on Pasta. This is what I dug out of my pantry to make a low-fat Dish. The Sodium seems a bit high so be mindful of that.

Ingredients

    2 Cans Hunts Diced Tomatoes with Basil, GArlic, and Oregano
    1 Can Del MOnte Diced Tomatoes with Basil, Garlic, and Oregano
    1.2 lbs of Ground Turkey Meat (93% Lean)
    5 Cloves Garlic
    1 Bell Pepper
    1 Onion
    8 oz Mushrooms
    2 TBSP Basil
    2 TBSP Oregano
    2 TBSP Parsley
    2 TBSP Olive Oil

Directions

Dice Garlic and cook in Olive Oil until golden.
Then Add Diced Onion. When onion starts sweating add ground turkey. When turkey is browned add green peppers, mushrooms, herbs, and cans of tomatoes. Simmer for 1 hour to allow flavors to mix! Serve over Pasta of your choice.
