Introduction

Ingredients

    4 cups shredded cabbage
    1 heaping teaspoon kosher salt
    about 8 oz tap water

Tips

We usually cook with western pork ribs. It goes good with any pork. It is also good with franks, hot dogs & bratts.


Directions

pack cabbage tightly but not too tightly into 1 quart jar. Add heaping teasoon of kosher salt. Fill jar slowly with tap water, so bubbles rise with water. Put seal lid on & tighten every day for a week. after 3 weeks it is ready to serve. Put in a slow cooker with Pork ribs. For about 4 to 6 hrs on high.

Serving Size: 1 quart makes 4 1 cup servings
