Introduction

Truth be told, I haven't tried this recipe yet. However, I was looking for something to take the place of refried beans as a side dish for tacos and didn't find what I was looking for on SP. The original recipe from Food.com called for 1/4 cup of oil and 2 cans of beans, but I thought I'd slim it down a bit. Once I make it I'll clarify what a true serving size is, but I'm guessing it will be around 3/4 cup.

It would be fun to stir in some Pice de Gallo or maybe top with some Oaxaca cheese like they do in restaurants!
