Introduction

This is just a simple recipe for making homemade peanut butter. This is just a simple recipe for making homemade peanut butter.
Number of Servings: 32

Ingredients

1 16 oz jar of Planters Dry Roasted Unsalted or Lightly Salted Peanuts
    2 tbsp Peanut Oil
    2 tbsp Agave Nectar

Tips

The serving size on a jar of Jif Creamy Peanut Butter is 15 servings for a 18oz jar. That's basically 2 tablespoons for 1 serving. You really only need 1 tablespoon so that is why I said it's 32 servings. This makes 2 cups which is a total of 32 tablespoons.

Directions

Get out your food processor and add a 16oz jar of Planters Dry Roasted Unsalted or Lightly Salted peanuts. Turn the food processor on to obliterate the peanuts. Turn it off and add 2 tablespoons of Peanut OIl and 2 tablespoons of Agave Nectar. If your peanuts are unsalted then add 1tsp of salt, if it's lightly salted then you really don't need any more. Mix until it's creamy and place in a jar(s).

If you want crunchy peanut butter, just remove about 4 tablespons of chunky peanuts before you added the peanut oil and agave nectar and add it at the end and stir it with a spoon to mix it in before jarring.
