Introduction

This is a recipe I created while following the CORE program at WW. It's a tasty treat and full of power foods. I do use brown sugar, but used to use the splenda brown sugar to maintain a "core program" dessert. it's delicious! This is a recipe I created while following the CORE program at WW. Ingredients

5-6 small apples, cored and sliced
1/4 c brown sugar (about 2T Splenda brown sugar blend)
    1-2 T cinnamon, ground
1.5-2 c of oatmeal, old fashion.
    2 tsp truvia
    1 c milk (1%)

Tips

You can use Splenda Brown sugar mix instead of regular brown sugar. You can also just do cinnamon and a little truvia over the apples as an alternative. This is a gluten free dish, and good for vegetarians. This is also very good for diabetics if using Truvia or less brown sugar on the apples.

This is great dish to serve at family gatherings or Thanksgiving! Or great when you have a craving for apple pie!

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 350R/180C. Slice up the apples and place in a bowl. Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon over the apples. Coat the apples well with the sugar and cinnamon.

2. Mix the Oatmeal and Truvia together. Pour in the milk. Mix well, allowing the oatmeal to soak up the milk a bit.

3. place the apples in a baking dish evenly. Spread the oatmeal mixture over the apples evenly. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes, until the oatmeal crust is a nice crisp light brown top. let cool then serve!
