Ingredients

    2 cups flour
    1/4 cup veg. shortening
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp salt
    3/4 cup hot water

Directions

mix dry ingredients together and make well in center
add shortening and hot water
mix together to form dough
cut into 12 pieces and form into balls
let rest at least 20 mins
roll into tortillas and cook in dry cast iron pan until starts to brown on both sides
