Ingredients

2 C Beans, red kidney,
2 C *Del Monte Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes
1.5 C Morningstar Farms "Burger" or "Sausage" Crumbles
3 tsp Splenda No Calorie Sweetener
2 T Basil
3 clove Garlic
2 T Balsamic Vinegar,
1C Green Bell Pepper , cut up
1C Red Bell pepper, cut up
1 T Cumin powder
2 T Chili powder
1 can (6 oz) Tomato Paste,
12 ounces water
1 C Onions, raw, chopped
Directions
Makes 8 servings
1. Spray large skillet with oil spray and saute the onions, and bell peppers.
2. Add the Morningstar crumbles and garlic to pan.
3. In sauce pan dilute Tomatoe Paste with 12 ounces water . Add in cut tomatoes with juice, and rinsed kidney beans.
4. Season sauce with sugar, basil, cumin and chili powder. Simmer for 10 minutes.
5. Combine all ingredients in sauce pot and simmer on low for 25 minutes.
6. Like any good cook taste and add or adjust the seasonings to your personal preference.
7. If desired serve with brown rice or whole wheat sphagetti. ( Add in additional calories)
8. Of course it tastes better on the second day when the seasonings have really cooked in.
