Ingredients

    1.5 cups chopped pecans, 1 stick butter (melted), 1 box yellow cake mix, 1 egg.

    Topping: 1 box (16 oz) powdered sugar, 1 8 oz package cream cheese, 2 large eggs. Top with remaining 1/2 cup chopped pecans.

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Melt 1 stick butter, beat in 1 large egg, then mix in 1 box yellow cake mix and 1.5 cups chopped pecans. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 13x9x2 inch baking pan.

In a separate bowl, cream an 8 oz package of cream cheese, 2 large eggs, and 1 box of powdered sugar. Pour on the top of the cake batter mixture. Top with 1/2 cup pecans.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until top is bubbly and brown.



Serving Size: Make approximately 30 pieces.
