Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

1 lbs turkey burger, 1 large cans stewed/crushed tomatoes, one can tomatoes with chilies, 1 cans pinto beans, 1 cans kidney beans, green pepper diced, 1/2 a white onion chopped, 1/4 chili powder, 1/8 t cayeene pepper, 1/2 t sugar, oregano, black pepper,1 1/2 t cumin and 1 t salt

Directions

Put all ingredients in the slow cooker, mix and set on low for 6-8hours or high for about four...until turkey is cooked. I usually double the recipe because I have a large slow cooker and like leftovers.
Some people prefer to cook and drain turkey burger first, but if you use lean it doesn't really matter.
Top with cheese and serve!

This was really good and my son had seconds on it. I think I might cook the turkey first just for the appearance of it, but it was very filling. - 1/18/09
