Ingredients

2 1/4 c white flour
2 Tbsp white sugar
2.5 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 c Earth Balance Natural Buttery Spread (vegan margarine); (or vegetable shortening)
1 c soy milk (add 1 tsp vinegar to make it like buttermilk)
Tips
Feel free to add raisins, grated cheese (omit sugar), cranberries or even cut apple and cinnamon.
Directions
Combine dry ingredients; cut in margarine to small pea size.
Stir in milk until dough forms (quickly)
Knead 12 X (you may need a little more flour for your hands and the surface)
Flatten and cut with approx 2-3" circle cutter OR form into two discs about 1" thick and score to cut into wedges after baking.
Bake 425 for 12-15 minutes. (8-9 minutes for smaller biscuits)
