1 package dry active yeast (2.5 tsp)
    1 cup hot water
1 Tbsp maple syrup, honey or sugar
    2 cups whole wheat flour

1 tsp dried herbs (like basil, rosemary, parsley, etc)
    Tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup white or wheat flour for kneading and rolling

Tips

The picture shows the ingredients I used last time I made this pizza dough (chopped kale, diced red peppers, mozzarella and garlic marinara sauce).

Directions

Mix yeast with 1 cup hot water and maple syrup and let sit 10 minutes.
Meanwhile add 2 cups flour, salt, garlic and herbs to a bowl and stir together.
-Add the yeast mixture stirring with a fork.
-Pour in olive oil and form a ball.
-Use the extra flour to knead the ball of dough for 5 minutes on flat surface.
-Put back in bowl, spray top and cover with wet towel or plastic wrap.
-Let rise for 1 to 1.5 hours.
-Punch down and form into 2 separate balls.
-Let rise for another 15 to 30 minutes.
It's done now!
-To bake; roll out each dough and fit onto 2 pizza pans. Top with desired toppings and bake at 450 for 12-15 minutes.

    Very Good
I made this dough for pizza and it was great. Did add 2 TSP water in addition because the dough was too dry. Froze half for another time, and still had enough for 2, 9 inch pizzas. Will definitely make again. - 5/24/16
