Ingredients

Garlic, 5 clove - (adjust to your liking of garlic)
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
*Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 4 tbsp
Canned Tomatoes, 10 cup ( I usually use San Marzanos or Plum tomatoes)
    Tomato Paste, 1 cup
Basil, 3 tbsp (I use fresh basil from my garden)
Granulated Sugar, 1 tsp (I just sprinkle some in to cut down on the acid, a trick I learned from my mother, and this is the only sauce that my husband does not get acid reflux attacks from :)

Directions

I cook over low on the stove and let it simmer for 2-4 hours. This may also work in a slow cooker, though I have not tried it.
