Ingredients

    Asparagus - fresh about 2lbs
    sesame oil
    lite soy sauce
    sugar
    sesame seeds
    ground ginger

Tips

the longer is sits in the sauce the better it will be. Stir occasionally if over 4 hours.


Directions

Snap off the woody ends of the asparagus, and cut into bite sized pieces. Blanche in boiling water for about 4 minutes. Drain and put in serving bowl and set aside.

Mix rest of ingredients together and pour over asparagus. Stir together so every piece is coated. cover and place in fridge to chill at least 1 hour.

Serving Size: Makes 5-6 1 cup servings
