Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 c skim milk (or 1 c plain unsweetened soy milk or 1 c plain rice milk)

    1 c plain, non-fat yogurt

    1 c frozen cherries (1 c of any frozen unsweetened fruit works fine)

    1 slightly rounded tablespoon of fat-free sugar-free chocolate pudding mix (can use any flavor, such as vanilla or butterscotch, or mix them together)

Directions

Put all ingredients into a blender.
Blend until well mixed and frozen fruit chopped.
Pour into glass and enjoy!

Optional add ins:

A banana or any other fresh fruit (a nice way to use fruit that might be getting soft or spotted)

A tablespoon or two of flax seed

    A little too sweet for me. I used vanilla pudding mix and vanilla soy milk. If I do this one again, I am going to make it into an ice cream instead of a shake. - 1/29/09
