Introduction

Adzuki beans are coming highly recommended for their anti-oxident power. I had to look high and low before I found these beans. I found them to be tender and tasty. Ingredients

    Ingredients:
    *Bean, Adzuki, 2 cup
    garlic
    onion
    Bay Leaf, 1 tbsp, crumbled
    Sage, ground, 1 tbsp
    Oregano, ground, 1 tbsp

Ground Turkey, 1 unit, yield from 1 lb raw
    *Larwry's Taco Seasoning, 2 tsp

Tips

This is great in the morning with egg whites and very filling. If you like you can add a bag of frozen corn for a yummy factor.

Directions

Soak beans over night or do a boiling water soak for one to two hours.
Put beans in crock pot with 1 Bay Leaf, 1 tsp Sage, 1 tsp Oregano, 1tbsps Chili powder and 1 tsp red pepper flakes. I did not use salt, but you can if you want. Leave on high for 3 hours or low for 6.

Brown turkey and drain, add garlic, onion and taco seasoning (or any seasoning you prefer) cook for 3-5 minutes allowing flavor to mingle with turkey. Transfer to crockpot on low.

Top with cheese or hot sauce if you like.
