Ingredients

    Refrigerated pie crust
    3 apples, peeled and thinly sliced
    Half package frozen blackberries
    1/4 c packed light brown sugar
    4.5 tbsp corn starch
    1 tsp nutmeg
    1 tsp cinnamon

Tips

You can flute the pie edges, use a lattice top, or anything you want. Tastes good cold or hot. Careful with the apple corer. Those things might not look sharp, but boy they sure can slice through skin easy.


Directions

Peel and core apples, slice thinly.
Whisk dry ingredients together until uniform.
Mix blackberries and apples together by tossing in large bowl. Sprinkle dry ingredients over while tossing to coat.
Put into pie shell, adding pie top
Bake at 450 for 10 minutes, then 350 for another 50 minutes.
Keep crust edge covered until 10 minutes before done.
