Introduction

I took an old favorite recipe of mine and tried to reduce the amount of sugar and sodium in it. Still very good and still a favorite of my husband's! I took an old favorite recipe of mine and tried to reduce the amount of sugar and sodium in it. Still very good and still a favorite of my husband's!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
    1 teaspoon dry mustard
    1 tablespoon onion powder
    1/4 teaspoon sea salt
    1/3 cup sugar, plus 1 pink package of sweet and low
    1 tablespoon poppy seeds
    1 cup extra virgin olive oil (add last, and slowly)

Tips

You can substitute celery seeds for the poppy seeds if you wish.


Directions

In a blender, add the apple cider vinegar, dry mustard, onion powder, salt, sugar and poppy seeds. Blend well. Slowly add the virgin olive oil, mix for several minutes. Store in a glass jar with lid in refrigerator. Stir well or shake before using.

Serving Size: Makes 1 1/2 cups: 12 servings of 2 tablespoons each
