Ingredients

    5 lbs. ground beef
    2 C. chopped onion
    16 C. pureed tomato
    4-6oz. cans tomato paste
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. minced parsley
    1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. Pampered Chef parmesan & garlic oil dipping seasoning
    1/2 Tbsp. basil

Tips

When I'm ready to use the sauce to eat I sprinkle a little Parmesan cheese and garlic salt or powder into it to give it a little more flavor.

Directions

Brown beef; add onions and cook slowly until tender. Add remaining ingredients and simmer until thick enough for serving. If the meat is fat, skim off excess fat before canning. Pour, while hot, into hot canning jars, leaving 1 inch head space. Adjust caps. Process pints 1 hour at 10 pounds of pressure or quarts 10 minutes at 15 pounds of pressure.
