Ingredients

5 cups frozen Lady Cream Peas
4 cups Chicken Stock
1 cup Onion, diced
1 cup Celery, diced
1 Tbsp Garlic, minced
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
1.5 Tbsp Light Butter
1 Bay Leaf
Tips
This is for fresh, frozen peas. If you are using dried, you need more liquid and to cook twice as long.
Directions
1. Add light butter and oil to large pan and turn heat on medium.
2. Add onions, celery and garlic. Saute over medium heat until onions are soft.
3. Add Chicken Stock and Bay Leaf, bring to a boil.
4. Turn heat to low and add peas.
5. Cover and simmer over low for 4 hours.
