2 Green Bell Peppers cut in half and cleaned
12 oz. 93% Lean ground meat
1/2 c Onions chopped
1 c Cooked Brown Rice
3 oz. hot sausage fro Shop and Save
1 can Hunts tomato sauce NO SALT
2 cans Green Beans NOT SALT
Pepper to taste
Tips
*I cook often with just 12 oz. of ground meat. When I purchase and bring it home I weight it and freeze it in bundles of 12 oz.
*I do the same but in 3 oz. sections with hot sausage.
Directions
Mix:
Ground meat, hot sausage, onions and brown rice.
fill the pepper halves evenly.
In a large baking dish place stuffed peppers.
Cover with tomato sauce. Cover and bake 350 degrees for Cook 1 hour...
then add green beans to the baking dish. cover and
bake 30 minutes
