My family loves Fettucine Alfredo and so do I. Now that I am serious about eating healthier I decided to come up with a lower fat version of my recipe. My family loves Fettucine Alfredo and so do I. Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    2 T Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    1 tsp minced garlic
    2 T minced onion
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp white pepper
    1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
    1/4 c flour
    2 c Land of Lakes Fat Free Half & Half
    2 c 1% Milk
    1/2 c grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 C Kraft Shredded Parmesan, Romano & Asiago Cheese

Directions

1.In a saucepan on medium high heat, add the olive oil, garlic and onion. Cook until onion is translucent. Do not burn the garlic
2. Add in salt, pepper, nutmeg & flour. Whisk until combined.
3. Add half & half and milk. Whisk until combined and you no longer have lumps. Keep stirring until mixture thickens.
4. Take off the burner and ad your cheeses. Stir until cheese is melted.
