Ingredients

1 lb green beans, washed trimmed & cut
3 oz Bacon ends, diced fine
1 can Garbanzo Beans (Chickpease), drained & rinsed
1 onion
3 cloves garlic
1 handful fresh herbs (chives, savory, basil, oregano..)
Salt & Pepper to taste
Directions
Wash and trim your green beans, blanch in a pot of boiling water until bright green but still crisp.
Dice your bacon fine, and cook in a large frying pan over medium heat until fat is rendered out and bacon is crispy. Add onions and garlic and cook until translucent.
Add garbanzo beans and turn heat to med-high. Saute until garbanzo beans are warm.
Add green beans and saute until everything is very hot.
Add fresh herbs and stir until herbs are wilted and fragrant. Serve immediately.
