Introduction
Super Yummy, high in protein! Anytime food! Super Yummy, high in protein! Anytime food!Number of Servings: 1
Ingredients
-
To make this scrumptious addition to your plate:
1/4 cup mushrooms (diced)
1/4 cup scallions (finely chopped)
2 large eggs
1/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar (I used block cheese to shred)
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Pepper to taste
1 pat of salted real butter
Tips
*Cooking time per really depends on your pan. I watch my eggs for clues. One secret, for an omelette, don't have the burner too high. Once you have the egg in there, leave it alone until it looks solid enough to flip, which is right about the time it's almost done all the way through, with just a little run on top. Flip carefully. The burner heat is important for it not to stick or burn.*
Directions
Place veggies and seasoning in the pan with the pat of butter. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on medium heat.
Scramble your eggs into a cup.
Add cooked veggies into the cup to combine, then place back in the pan. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side.
On the final flip, add 1/4 cup of finely shredded sharp cheddar to one half of your omelette. Flip it in half to cover the cheese (making it a half round). Cook for about a minute then it's ready for your enjoyment!
