Ingredients

    1lb pinto beans
    1/4 c butter
    3 med onions
    2 garlic cloves
    6 c water
    2 bay leaves
    2 Tbls parsley
    1lb ham bone
    salt
    peppers

Directions

Soak beans overnight drain, saute butter, onions and garlic for 5 minutes, add all other ingredients and simmer for 4 hours. Add salt and pepper to taste
