Ingredients

    3 cups white flour
    1 cup plus 1 Tbsp. tap water
    2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
    3 Tbsp. soft, melted butter
    1 tsp. sea salt
    2 tsp. yeast
    1/2 cup butter, (1 stick) softened for spreading on dough and greasing baking sheet
    2 tbsp Sour Cream (Tofutti - Better Than Sour Cream) Substitute

Tips

Make plenty, they go fast! Freezes well for quick meals. If using convection oven, preheat oven at 325 degrees F. Bake rolls for 11-12 minutes or until brown.


Directions

Add wet ingredients to bread maker then add dry ingredients including 3 Tbsp. melted butter. Yeast goes in last. Set dough cycle. Clean Counter top and grease with softened butter. Roll out dough to a 8X18 inch rectangle. Spread with butter and fold in thirds. Cover with saran wrap and refrigerate on large flat platter. Let rest in refrigerator for 1 hour. Take out and roll dough again to 8X18 inch rectangle. Add another layer of butter and refold in thirds. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut dough in 1/2 longwise and cut triangular pieces across the diagonal of each stip. Roll up triangles into crescent roll shapes. Grease baking sheet generously. You may brush top of each roll with 1 beaten egg. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until brown and baked through.
