Ingredients

7 cups old fashioned rolled oats (not quick cooking)
1 cup sweetened coconut, flaked
1/3 cup salted soy nuts
3 tablespoons roasted sunflower seed (not salted)
3 tablespoons flax seed
3/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
1/2 cup slivered almonds
5 ounces unsweetened apple juice
9 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
Put oatmeal, coconut, soy nuts, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, and nuts into a large baking pan (3 inches deep), and stir well.
Place into sauce pan: butter (cut into 1-oz slices), apple juice, honey, and brown sugar. Heat together over medium heat until butter has melted and ingredients are well mixed. Remove from heat and add cinnamon.
Pour liquid evenly over dry ingredients and stir well. Bake in 325-degree oven for 90 minutes, stirring well every 30 minutes.
Cool well before putting into covered containers for storing.
Note: Dry ingredients may be varied to taste: various grains, nuts, and/or dried fruits.
