My favorite sloppy joe recipe ever! My favorite sloppy joe recipe ever!
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    2 lbs ground turkey (browned)
    1 c. onion finely chopped (or 1 sm to med onion)
    1/2 - 1 c. celery, finely chopped
    2 - 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 cup ketchup
    2 tsp. apple cider vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. liquid smoke

Tips

Serve on whole grain hamburger buns - about 1/2 cup mixture per sandwich.


Directions

Brown ground turkey with onions and celery. Add tomato sauce, ketchup and all other ingredients and simmer about 10 minutes.

Serving Size: makes 10 sloppy joes (1/2 c. per sandwich)
