Ingredients

    1 scoop (1/4 cup) whey protein powder
    2 tablespoons chia seeds, or ground chia seeds
    1/2 cup unsweetened unflavored almond milk
    1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
    1/2 cup fresh or frozen mango or apricots
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/4 cup water
    (a few ice cubes)

Tips

Dr. Turner suggests drinking the entire recipe as a meal replacement. To fit into other diets, I divided the recipe in half.


Directions

In blender, combine all ingredients except ice cubes. Divide recipe in half. Save 1/2 in a jar in the refrigerator for later. Blend a few ice cubes into the portion you are going to drink.

Serving Size: Divide recipe in half to make 2 servings.

    Incredible!
    I started drinking 2 of these smoothies a day plus a salad & protin for dinner .I have lost 6 lbs in the first week.This smoothie recipe keeps you full for a good 5 hours at a time.I also walk 30 min a day.Great taste,easy to make,and will help you meet your weight loss goal. - 2/10/14
