Ingredients

Oats 16 cups
Unsweetened shredded coconut 1-1/2 cup
Whole almonds 1-1/2 cup
Skim milk powder 3 cups
Canola oil 1/2 cup
Brown sugar
Cinnamon 1 tsp
Directions
Coarsely chop the almonds.
In a large bowl mix the oats, coconut, nuts, milk powder and cinnamon.
In a pot bring to boil the sugar, oil and 3/4 cup water.
Pour the hot syrup over the grains and nuts.
Mix well. Spread tinly on cookie sheets and bake 5 minutes on each side at 300. The oat clusters should be golden, adjust baking time accordingly. This will give you a very large batch of granola (56- 1/2 cup servings). Feel free to divide the recipe, this is how much a bag of oats makes.
