Ingredients

    2 Cups Filtered Cold Water
    1 medium Beetroot
1 small (1/2-1 inch) piece of raw ginger
    Juice from 1 whole lemon
    2 cups raw Kale
1 green or red apple (core/seeds removed)
1/2 cup frozen fruit of your choice (my favorites are pineapple, blueberry and peach)

Tips

Best served in a mason jar! I also like to add some ice and drink with a straw :)

Directions

Add 2 cups of water to the Vitamix or high speed blender. Roughly cut up an apple, beet and ginger and throw into the water. Next, roughly chop the kale leaves and put into blender. Squeeze lemon into blender then blend all ingredients SLOWLY from low to high. This should take about a minute. Once the veggies/fruits have been pulverized, take a fine sieve/colander and pour juice through colander into large measuring cup or bowl. Let sit for 2 minutes to strain.
Once the juice has strained, rinse out blender and put the juice back in, throw out pulp. Add frozen blueberries (or any frozen fruit) and blend for 30 seconds to mix.
