Ingredients

    3/4 cup canned pumpkin
    1 3/4 cup skim milk
    1 Tbsp honey
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 tsp baking soda
    1 1/2 Cup whole wheat flour
    2 tsp baking powder



Tips

Do not overmix after adding flour as this can make the waffles chewy.


Directions

Preheat waffle iron.
Whisk together pumpkin, milk, honey, cinnamon, and baking soda until well blended.
Gently add in flour and baking powder. Stir just until combined.
Ladle batter into the center of waffle iron and cook per manufacturer's directions for your model waffle maker.
