Ingredients

1lb lean ground beef
1md yellow onion
3 md carrots
3 md cellery stalks
1 (15.5oz) can red kidney beans
1 (15.5oz) can white kidney beans
32oz beef stock
2 (28oz) cans diced tomatoes ( I prefer Cento)
1 (20oz) jar pasta sauce ( I prefer Prego Taditional)
oregano
black pepper
parsley
tabasco
Parmesan for garnish (optional)
Tips
The original recipe (obviously) calls for 8oz of small pasta(ditalini or small shells). If you choose to add the pasta, cook it according to the package directions and add it at the end of cooking. This will change the nutritional information.
I also like to serve this with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
Directions
1)brown the ground beef stovetop.
2)chop the carrots, onions and cellery
3)drain the red and white kidney beans
4) add all ingredients to slow cooker
5) cook on HIGH 4-5hrs or LOW 7-8hrs
6) ENJOY!
