Introduction

Quick smoothie to whip up in blender for morning. I used hemp protein; any 90-calorie protein powder would work, or adjust to fit your particular protein powder. Ingredients

    3 tbsp. hemp protein powder (90 calorie)
    1 fresh banana
    3 medjool dates (or other natural sweetner)
    1 cup canned pumpkin puree
    1 cup Almond Breeze unsweetened vanilla almond milk
    1.5 tsp pumpkin pie spice
    about 5 ice cubes (to cool to taste)

Tips

This is a versatile recipe; sometimes I use spinach or kale instead of the protein powder. Or a frozen banana and no ice. Maple syrup instead of dates...stevia to cut calories.


Directions

Throw in blender. Mix until smooth.
