Ingredients

    2 tbsp. olive oil
    2 lbs. ground chuck
    1-1/2 cups uncooked rice
    1 large onion, diced
    salt & pepper as desired
    3 14 oz. cans tomato sauce

Directions

Mix ground chuck, rice, onion, salt and pepper together and form into meatballs. Heat cooking oil in large frying pan and brown meatballs. Pour tomato sauce over meatballs and bring to a simmer. Cover and simmer gently for 30 minutes. The rice will poke out of the meatballs like quills.

Serving Size: Makes about 28 meatballs.
