Introduction

A biscuit type cinnamon roll, these were the standard fare at my grandmother's home growing up! A biscuit type cinnamon roll, these were the standard fare at my grandmother's home growing up!

Ingredients

    Cut Crisco into flour to form base. Add milk if dough mixture is too crumbly. Form into a ball, wrap in plastic and rest in the fridge for an hour. You may also choose to skip the resting and continue on to making the buns.

    Roll dough out on a flat surface until even in thickness, and in a rectangular shape.

    Spread on room temp butter.

    Spread on sugar.

    Top with cinnamon.

    Roll up the dough to form a long log. Slice the desired thickness of your roll. Place in a greased cookie tin to bake.

    Bake at 375 until cooked, 15-20min depending on oven temps, and elevation. Watch closely!
