    *Whole Wheat Penne (dry), 8 oz (remove)
    Shiitake Mushrooms, 2 cup pieces (remove)
    Onions, raw, 1 small (remove)
    Garlic, 3 clove (remove)
    Thyme, ground, 0.5 tsp (remove)
    *Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched, .12 cup (remove)
    Chicken stock, home-prepared, 1.5 cup (remove)
    Milk, 1%, 0.12 cup (remove)
    Goat Cheese, Soft, 1 oz (remove)
    *Balsamic Vinegar, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Butter, 1 Tbsp
    Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1 Tbsp


Cook pasta. Saute onions and mushrooms in butter and olive oil. Saute garlic. Season with salt, pepper, and thyme. Sprinkle with flour heat for 2 minutes. Stir in chicken broth. Whisk until smooth. Add vinegar, whisk in. Whisk in milk and cheese. Allow to thicken over medium heat.
