Ingredients

3/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup raw sugar
dash sea salt
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
3T natural unsweetened applesauce
1 can lower sodium black beans, rinsed & drained
2 eggs (for vegan, use 2.5T flaxseed meal + 6T water)
optional topping(s) (not included in nutritional specs)
Directions
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2) spray two mini muffin pans
3) mix dry ingredients into a bowl
4) fold applesauce into dry ingredients
5) put black beans, eggs, and extract into a food processor/blender/mixer and blend well
6) gradually mix dry ingredients into bean mixture and continue until mixed well
7) use a spoon to pour brownie batter into mini muffin pan(s)
8) optional: add any toppings you are using... chocolate chips, sunflower seeds, nuts, etc (not included in nutritional specs)
9) bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes on the middle oven rack
10) remove and allow to cool for 5-10 minutes
