Ingredients

MEATBALLS
1 lb. lean ground turkey
2 T grated ginger root
2T minced garlic
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/4 up chopped scallions
1 egg
2 T olive oil
1/4 cup chicken broth
GLAZE
1/2 t. sesame oil
3 T rice wine vingegar
3 T lite soy sauce
3 T honey
1/2 tsp. corn starch
1/4 cup chopped scallions
1/2 t. crushed red pepper flakes
Tips
Serve with Asian salad of coleslaw or broccoli slaw, kale, cucumber, red/yellow pepper, slivered almonds, cilantro and scallions. Use Sesame Soy Dressing recipe in Sparkrecipes.
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400
2. combine all meatball ingreadients except oil and broth. Form into large meatballs (2" in diameter).
3. Heat olive oil in frying pan over med-high heat and brown outside of meatballs.
4. Place browned meatballs into cookie sheet and pour chicken stock into the pan.
5. Cook for about 20 minutes or until cooked thru. Let rest.
6. While meatballs are cooking, combine all of glaze ingredients in small pan. Bring to boil, then lower heat to low. Stir occasionally until thickened.
7. Drizzle sauce over meatballs and garnish with chopped scallions.
