Introduction
These sandwiches go together super fast and my kids wolf them down. Sometimes I freeze three in a baggie. We can nuke 'em and head out the door on busy mornings. Ingredients
-
1 pkg. potato rolls/buns
1/2 lb. sliced ham, chopped
1/2 lb. swiss cheese, low fat, shredded
1/2 lb. mozzarella cheese, low fat, shredded
2 TBS butter
2 TBS mustard, or to taste
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
Tips
1 serving size = 3 sandwiches. I freeze the potato rolls and slice while frozen with a good bread knife, it's easier this way. For variety, you might add poppy seeds, minced onions or even sunflower seeds!
Freeze individual sandwiches and pop in the microwave for 1 min. on busy mornings.
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine butter, mustard,& worcestershire sauce. Add ham & cheese. Mix until well blended.
Slice the top half off of the rolls. DO NOT BREAK INTO INDIVIDUAL ROLLS. Place bottom half in a 9x13 pan. Spread the ham/cheese mixture evenly over the bottom half of the rolls in each pan. Place top half on rolls.
Bake in oven for around 15 minutes until rolls are golden brown and cheese has melted.
Serving Size: 8 servings, or 2 servings if you have teenage boys at dinner
