Ingredients

    1/4 Cup Chopped Mushrooms
    1/4 Cup Chopped Onion
    2 Cloves Garlic
    1/4 Cup Egg Beaters
    3/4 Tablespoon Fresh Oregano, Thyme, and Basil, or
    3/4 Teaspoon Gourmet Garden Italian Herb Paste
    1/4 Cup Plain Bread Crumbs
    1 Pound Ground Turkey
    2 Pieces of Light String Cheese cut into 8 Pieces

Directions

Combine mushrooms, onions, garlic, egg beaters, and herbs in a mini food processor and chop finely.

Combine ground turkey and bread crumbs in a bowl, mix in Egg Beaters mixture and mix thoroughly.

Use a scoop, create eight separate meatballs, pressing one piece of the string cheese into the center of the ball and closing the uncooked meat around it.

Bake at 400 degrees until internal temperature registers at least 170.
